Circle of a Promise

Shifting from medieval times to the present, this is the story of two people whose love lasts through centuries. Amarantha "Mara" of Ullswater knows she must accept her parents' choice of a husband to keep Baldwin, the earl of Cumbria, from claiming her as his bride. When Mara meets her intended, the idea of marriage becomes a bit more appealing. Stephen, the baron of Bellingham, takes her to his castle and promises to keep her safe. Centuries later, Steve Bellingham unsuccessfully battles depression and troubling dreams. In a final attempt to find a solution, he visits an expert who helps people revisit their past lives. Discovering that he has failed to protect the Mara, Steve struggles to find a way to return to the past.
